- Story first – don’t distract them with attractive visuals, keep it lo-fi in an earlier process
- Intent to get feedback – Get feedback from the client on specific parts and general points
Storyboarding
A visual form of storytelling used to show a user’s journey.
Comprised of panels filled with art – usually low-fi art – and accompanying text.
A story helps your audience gain empathy for users. There is no focus on the interface in the story.


Timebox for storyboarding is around 20 minutes.
Roadmapping
A time-based mapping of design decisions and the user impact on those decisions.
You need a long-term plan to know how this great idea fits into the rest of the product and its life cycle.
